Nap Time...

It's exhausting to look this cute all the time.

Chillin' in My Chair...

Here I am in my new chair. I like it because I can sit up like all the big people. Seriously, though, they couldn't splurge and get me a recliner?

Tummy Time...

Look how strong I'm getting! (Shortly after this picture was taken, I dropped and did 20 push-ups and then bench-pressed my stroller.)

Hot Prospect...

I hear the Cardinals are in a little bit of a rebuilding period, so I thought I'd scout a prospect for them. Though a little on the small side, this little guy should grow into the position with time. He's got excellent hands, strength and reflexes for his age, while his youthful exhuberance and bright personality will bring cohesivenesss to any locker room. He's still a little slow on the base paths, but that should improve as he learns to crawl, walk, and then run. His language skills are still developing, but they should improve infinitely over the next couple of years. Overall, we see nothing but upside for this bright young prospect.

He's even better in person...

Tate wanted everyone to know what he looks and sounds like now. Still pictures just can't do it justice. Neither can a video, but sometimes you have to take what you can get. Anyway, he's pretty entertaining these days.

I'm so BIG!

We weighed Tate on the scale at the post office today, and by our estimations - despite his best squirming - he weighs about 10 pounds, 2 ounces. I don't know where that puts him on the growth charts, but like I tell everyone else, we're pretty sure he won't end up a runt.
What we do know is that he has a smile that can light up a room and looks a little more grown up every day.

2 Days Till Christmas!

Since we were all dressed up in our Sunday best, we thought maybe we should take a picture in front of the tree. Merry Christmas, wherever you are! Unless you're a stranger who happened to come across this blog, you're probably a friend or family member, so we miss you.
